In February 1975, Chief Charles Graham presented a letter to the Board of Directors on behalf of the firefighter’s asking that they be recognized as an employee organization.
After a review of the Government Code, the Board approved this request in their March 1975 meeting. The Association has been representing its firefighter’s and other members since.
